First day – Meeting point

The course takes place at the Panum Institute. Enter the main entrance from ”Blegdamsvej” and find the pick-up point nearby. Our course assistants will guide you from there.

Getting to the Panum Institute

The closest Metro station is “Nørreport” where the Metro lines “M1” and “M2” stop.

There are some bus stops right outside the “Panum Institute”. These are

1. Name: Rigshospitalet Syd (Tagensvej). Bus lines that stops here: 6A, 15E, 94N, 150S, 184, 185

2. Name: Rigshospitalet Syd (Blegdamsvej). Bus lines that stop here: 1A

General recommendation

You can use the “Public transportation” function in Google Maps, or go to Rejseplanen. If using “Rejseplanen” and departing from the airport, type “CPH Lufthavn” in the “Enter Start”.

Airport

The closest airport is Copenhagen Airport (Airport code: CPH).
When arriving at the airport, the easiest way to reach the inner part of Copenhagen is by the Copenhagen Metro.

Biking

Copenhagen remains considered among the world’s best cities for biking. A vast amount of bike lanes makes it easy to get around – but if you rent a bike, please watch out for the “native”-cyclists as some are biking fast and may not realize you are not familiar with the unwritten rules of cycling.

If you want to make a stop, please remember there is always a cyclist right behind you. Signal you are going to stop, and get out of the bike lane.

e-Bikes/e-Scooters can be rented through Apps as: Lime, Tier, Bolt, Donkey Republic

Different smaller bike shops located throughout Copenhagen also rent out bicycles.
